Is OPEN WATER For You?

Do you fit into one of these or a similar situation?

The Good: Haggai 2:6-9

Help when moving from glory to glory in a not so glorious world.

Suppose everything is going along as planned in your ministry. You are walking in righteousness and love. But something has come up. You're pretty sure God has brought it up. The situation needs some prayer and discussion. There is wisdom in many counselors. Trouble is, your counselors all have their own agendas. There's the Board; you know what I mean - THE BOARD. Good, Godly folks that all hear from the Lord. Trouble is, they're all hearing different things from Him. Then there's your father-in-law. He's a minister too. In fact he helped you with tuition to the seminary. He's behind you 100% - as long as he agrees with your position on a matter. Then there's your darling bride. She would take a bullet for you, unless dear old dad was holding the gun. Then she'd step aside and let him shoot you (After all, he's her daddy). Then there are your buddies. They're all ministers too. Some things just can't be discussed with other men of the cloth. Isn't odd how paranoid they can get? Then there's mother. She's so proud of you! She'll slap you for even thinking about upsetting the apple cart.(By the way, when are you going to bring the grandkids over for a visit?) Then you're right back to God and that "Thing" that He's brought up. What to do? KEEP PRAYING. And if He directs you to, contact OPEN WATER.
The Bad: Galatians 6:1

Help when rising from the ashes after a fall from grace.

Ok. You've dotted all the "I's" and crossed all the "T's". No stone has been left unturned. The Board has been appointed, the Elders called and separated. The associate pastor is in training. The congregation is beaming. The music director has the choir singing like angels. And how could she not? Just look at her. She may actually be an angel herself! That face, those eyes, those lips.
Those lips.
Those luscious lips.....
Oh boy, now you've gone and done it. The Board you appointed has fired you. Your wife wants you to pay her divorce lawyer. The associate pastor has taken your job, and the congregation is no longer beaming-they're glaring. And the music director? She repented, moved out of state, and got a job with a higher salary-as a music director at another church. But what about you? Truly you've fallen from grace. You're not denying your sin. But will you never be worthy to use your God-given talents for the work of the Kingdom again? Fear not. Call on the Lord. He restores! Ask Him in prayer if OPEN WATER MINISTRIES can help.
The Ugly: Romans 4:17

Help and advice for those new to the Kingdom of God & His ministry.

Ok, ok... It's been a slow train coming, but you've finally pulled this wreck into the station. You've been off the drugs for several years now. Served your time in prison. You ditched that crack-whore you called your girlfriend. You're engaged to a wonderful Christian girl. She's a widow with the sweetest little four year old kid you've ever met. The child calls you "daddy". Folks don't walk the other way when they see you coming now. One of the men in the church owns a construction company and gave you an honest job with decent pay. God has truly cleaned up your act. Heaven on earth sure is better than Hell on earth! But a ministry? Your momma, your pastor, your fiancé, the congregation: They've all got you pegged as a minister. It's a tough job, but you're a tough guy. But are you the right guy? And is church ministry what God wants for you? Get alone. Get completely alone. Ask God. Then if He tells you to, ask OPEN WATER.
